Asher Michael Johnston entered this world on June 18th, 2021. Perceived birth trauma to his left eye orbit quickly landed Asher in the emergency room. On July 4th at 16 days old Asher was diagnosed with Stage 1 Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma and started chemotherapy immediately.
"On October 15th just after landing in Boston for radiation treatment. We were given the devastating news that Metastasis had occurred to Asher’s nervous system and there were no options with positive outcomes available. Asher continued treatment for 7 more weeks without success and on December 9th, 2021 grew his Angel wings and went home to Heaven. We always knew God would be his ultimate healer we just didn’t imagine it “this” way. Asher is an angel that graced us on this earth for 174 days and left a lasting touch on every soul that knew him.” – Heather Johnston (Asher’s Mom)
Our very first Will’s Warrior, Brynn, and the only Warrior who had the chance to meet Will, passed away in 2024 at just 12 years old. As Will’s Angel, Brynn showed us all the power of joy — reminding us to laugh freely, dance like no one’s watching, and embrace life with a full heart.
Throughout her courageous five-year battle with cancer, Brynn brought light and laughter to everyone around her. Even during her hospital stays, she spread kindness and love, writing sweet notes to Joanna, Mike, and Will that lifted their spirits and strengthened their bond.
Brynn’s resilience and radiant spirit remind us that a diagnosis doesn’t define a person. She lived her life with incredible bravery, grace, and joy — inspiring all who knew her.
Her legacy continues to fuel the Irwin family’s mission to find a cure for childhood cancer. Brynn will always be a guiding light in that journey..
